Find out if iOS 14 will work on your iPhone. Here’s the complete list.

Apple iOS 14 Update
Apple iOS 14 Update

Will your iPhone be compatible with iOS 14?

Apple announced a slew of new features coming to iOS 14 this fall at its Worldwide Developers Conference Monday. The latest updates show a new app organizer and home screen widgets for the first time on iPhone ($699 at Apple), as well as a more compact Siri interface. The new iOS 14 update will also let you play a video thumbnail (Picture in Picture) while doing other things and add face coverings to your Memoji.

As with any new iOS update, you may be wondering whether you’ll still be able to use your old iPhone or if it’s time to upgrade to a newer version. When Apple revealed iOS 13 last year, it announced the update would work with iPhone 6S, iPhone SE (2016) and newer models. This year is the same — Apple isn’t excluding the iPhone 6S or its older version of the iPhone SE.

While the new iPhone update won’t be available until this fall, developers can still download and install the iOS public developer beta — everyone else can try the public beta in July. However, we recommend you only try this if you have an older iPhone that you don’t use as your primary phone.

Here’s the official list of devices that will work with iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. If you’re buying a new phone in the fall, it’ll come with the new iOS installed.

iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max 12.9-inch iPad Pro iPhone XS and XS Max 11-inch iPad Pro iPhone XR 10.5-inch iPad Pro iPhone X 9.7-inch iPad Pro iPhone 8 iPad (6th gen) iPhone 8 Plus iPad (5th gen) iPhone 7 iPad Mini (5th gen) iPhone 7 Plus iPad Mini 4 iPhone 6S iPad Air (3rd gen) iPhone 6S Plus iPad Air 2 iPhone SE (2020) iPhone SE (2016) iPod Touch (7th gen)

Oppo find X2 Pro The all new Great flagship Killer is launched ! — June 18, 2020

Oppo find X2 Pro The all new Great flagship Killer is launched !

Oppo find x2 Pro

one of the first in the world, so a thumbs-up for thatwould be appreciated. This is of course thebrand new Oppo Find X2 Pro. let’s get to the device and see what it has to offer.

So initially having a look at the box, its got an interesting sort of pattern, looks quite cool, we’ve got Oppo Find X2 Pro. 5G, because of course 5G supported and at the top it says 12 gigabytes and 512 gigabytes, so that’s 12 gigabytes of ram with up to 512 gigabytes of storage. Let’s open this up and here is the device.

So we’ll put that to the side for a second to see what else we get in side the box. Here is everything, weget a soft clear case, which is always a nice touch, there’s some paperwork, there’s a USB Type A to USB Type C cable, a sim card tool. We’ve got some USB Type C inner earphones with some spare ear tips. But most importantly, we have this, this is a 65 watt Super VOOC 2.0 charger. Now that is, I believe the fastest smartphone charger in the world, it’s going to be able to topup the Find X2 Pro from zero to 100% in just 40 minutes, which is absolutely insane.

Really cannot wait to test this out. Let’s now get to the device. So we’ll get rid of the plastic. And here it is, this looks really, really cool. We’ve got a very premium build so there’s a metal frame and then we’ve got a ceramicback on this version, there’s also a version available with a leather back and it is IP68 water and dust resistant. Now let’s look at oneof the main key features of the Find X2 Pro, and that is the display. Now this is what Oppo are calling a 120 hertz Ultra vision screen. Now this looks absolutely beautiful, it’s a curved OLED display,120 hertz refresh rate, but with a Quad HD+ resolution. So we’ve seen 120 hertz displays before but they do max out at 1080p, I believe this is the world’s first

display on a smartphone that has 120 hertz at Quad HD+. Now this means that things are not only goingto be very, very smooth thanks to the 120 hertz refresh rate as well as the 240 hertz touch sensitivity, but they’re also going to be super sharp. We’ve got a 513 PPI pixel density. It’s a 6.78 inch curved display and we’ve got a high screen to body ratio of course with minimalbezels and a punch out. And this display can go up to 1,200 nits of brightness when you’reviewing HDR content.

And I think it’s safe to say that this is definitely one of the best displays onthe market right now. Now you might be thinking, Quad HD+ resolution withthe 120 hertz refresh rate, how is that going to effect battery life? We’ll we’re going to have to wait and see but one thing that’s interesting is that Oppo have thought about this and implemented adaptive refresh rate as well as adaptive screen resolution. What this is going to do isit’s going to look at what you’re seeing on screen and it’s going to change the refresh rate as well as the resolutiondepending on what you’re viewing. So for instance, ifyou’ve got static content, that doesn’t really need 120 hertz right? It can switch back to 60 hertz, and if you’re watching a Full HD video, not a Quad HD video, thenagain it’s not going to need to use all of that resolution, and that should helptowards the battery life. This is something of course that we’re going to have to testwhile using this day to day. Now looking towards the back we’ve got this really cool texture, (squeaking) I’m not sure if you can hear that. (squeaking) So cool. Now this gives it reallya really nice look and it also gives it a bit more grip. And then we’ve got the camera modules. Now let’s talk about these cameras. So the primary camera is 48 megapixels with optical image stabilization. It’s got a large sensor size, so Oppo really going forlow light performance here. Then we’ve got a 48 megapixelultra wide camera as well. So the ultra wide cameraalso has high resolution, this has around a 120degree angle of view. And then we have a 13megapixel telephoto camera with optical image stabilization.

And as you can see it’s got a rectangular shape, the reason for this is it’susing periscope technology and mirrors to give youaround 10 times hybrid zoom, so it’s going to allow youto get in very, very close to your subjects. I’ve used the 10 times zoomon previous Oppo devices and I got to say, it’s really good, I took some shots from the plane once and they were actually very, very usable. Now let’s take a look around the device. So within the displaywe do have a punch out, that is the front facing camera, 32 megapixels. And then we have an indisplay fingerprint scanner which works really well. There are stereo speakers, so there’s one speaker in earpiece and then there’s one bottom firing. At the bottom as well as thatthere is a USB Type C input, and then there is the SIM card tray. On the top we havenothing apart from a mic. On the left hand side we’vegot the volume buttons and on the right hand sidewe have the power button. These are actually quitereachable which I like, they’re not too high up. Now looking at the internals, this is powered by the QualcommSnapdragon 865 chipset, its got up to 12 gigabytes of LPDRR5 RAM, so that’s the latest RAM that you’re getting as well, and up to 512 gigabytes of storage, so performance should not be a problem. In addition to that wedo have the X55 modem and this is going to enable 5G so you’re getting 5G out of the box. It supports both a non stand alone as well as standalone, so you should get some decent coverage. And for the battery we do have a 4,260 mAh battery, in terms of usage, I’m going to have to feedback on that after using this for some time. But once again we do have that 65 watt Super VOOC2.0 which is insane, that’s going to allow you to top this up from zero to100 in around 40 minutes. No wireless charging and for software we do have Android 10 with ColorOS version 7.1. That is the Oppo Find X2 Pro, a very interesting and promising device. What do you guys thing of it?
